Objects
[…] ... Gurvich has always
treasured freedom to experience all the expressive possibilities,
that is why fame was never one of his goals because
he knew the limits it would have imposed him. His complex
artistic personality is unmistakable, whether in painting,
sculpture, ceramics or the objects that he created;
we are moved by his gracefulness and expression, humor
or tragic or nostalgic sense and by his outstanding
ability to join fantasy and everyday life throughout
his work.
